Back in April, on the weekend of the 23rd to 26th 2026, Freight Minds had the pleasure of joining forces with ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ for their 49th competition, at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Over the course of 4 days men competed against each other, enduring intensely physical tasks, testing their mental capabilities, to decide who is to be crowned ‘The World’s Strongest Man’.
At the start of the year, we were contacted by one of our clients, who were already involved in event, to see if we wanted the chance to collaborate. Of course, we jumped at the chance to be involved in such an iconic event.
So how did Freight Minds join forces with a weightlifting competition?
We supplied the truck of course!
On Friday 24th April, 25 individuals took turns pulling our truck in attempt to prove themselves strong enough for a place in the final events that took place on 25th-26th April.
As part of the competition, the men must pull a vehicle 30 metres in the quickest time possible. This is where we came into play. The truck and trailer we supplied weighed in at a combined 18,143.69 kg. That is the same as pulling 4 fully grown African elephants (I think we will leave the heavy pulling to the professionals). The winner of our Freight Minds truck pull was Canadian strongman, Mitchell Hooper, who completed the 18 tonne pull in 33.02 seconds.

Congratulations to all those who took part and a big congratulations to the contestant crowned ‘World’s Strongest Man 2026’, Mitchell Hooper. This marks his second victory after having previously won in 2023.
