We have the capability to offer in-house ATA Carnet services, in-house security screening, packing services and aircraft pallet building.

From supporting grass roots sports teams and up and coming musicians, requiring ATA Carnet support, vans and advice, to the complex logistics around World Cups and the largest worldwide arena and stadium tours for bands, touring exhibitions and family entertainment shows, the Freight Minds’ team are busy project managing tour schedules and meeting no-fail deadlines, on a daily basis in all corners of the world.

Alan Durrant

CO-CEO

Alan has worked in logistics/freight forwarding for over four decades, but is always looking for the next challenge as the industry evolves. Interests include cycling, cars, motorbikes, motorsport, sport and less adrenaline-related pursuits like gardening and baking.

Matt Wright

CO-CEO

Matt’s a second generation freight forwarder. He grew up in the business and brings decades of expertise to bear on solving the increasingly complex logistical problems that it can present. Interests include mountain biking, motor racing, music, cars, motorbikes, travelling, and eating out.

Andy Lovell

Director

Andy has been at the forefront of live entertainment logistics for over 30 years, specialising in the A-Z of the music touring industry. From Adele to Zucchero, he brings a wealth of expertise to the dynamic team. Beyond his career, Andy is a dedicated family man with two young daughters.   His hobbies currently include catching up on sleep (!),watching and playing sport, particularly football, listening to music and relaxing on a nice sandy beach.

Joseph Pacheco

Managing Director USA

With more than 30 years of experience in Global freight and logistics management across various transportation modes, he has refined his skills over the past two decades by successfully navigating intricate tour schedules. He plays a crucial role in the entertainment and events industry, focusing on overseeing tours for highly acclaimed artists, live events, theatre productions, sports gatherings, and experiential marketing campaigns. Known for his meticulous planning, precise coordination, and adept problem-solving abilities, Joseph ensures the flawless execution of high-profile events. When he is not travelling with his family, Joseph loves a chill day at home or at the beach hanging with his dogs.  An avid mountain biker and sports fanatic, he also has a deep love for music and attending live shows.

Beverly is a live entertainment shipping expert with over 20 years of collaborative experience with the Freight Minds US and UK teams, in the dynamic live event industry. She has implemented processes and programs for seamless logistics in entertainment events and contributed to 10 of the largest tours in the past decade, ensuring flawless execution. Beverly is a proud member of NCBFAA and LACAA, driving industry excellence. She enjoys travel and cherishes family moments.

Lorena Simpson

East Coast Director of Operations – USA

Lorena brings over 25 years of expertise in global logistics and large-scale projects, specializing over decades managing time-critical projects, with a passion for events, sport, exhibitions, conferences, music and film to last minute broadcasting productions.  She is known for being dedicated to delivering a seamless and efficient operational and customer experience on a global scale. Lorena is fluent in German, English, and Spanish, which she enjoys using when networking with likeminded industry partners. She enjoys taking her pit-bull for walks, attending concerts and comedy shows, eating out, visiting family in Chile and Austria, as well as spending quality time with family and friends.

Heather Polis

US Operations

Heather has worked in Operations and Project Management within the live entertainment logistics sector for a number of years, initially in the UK and later relocating to the US in 2021. She thrives on solving challenges, connecting with people, and immersing herself in the dynamic aspects of concert logistics, festivals, as well as the hands-on aspects of pallet building and truck loading. Beyond work, Heather’s interests span skiing, ice hockey, golf, hiking, and extensive travel. Above all, she loves moments spent with her family, and has a profound love for animals.

Alekos Polis

US Sales & Operations

Alekos is a seasoned professional having been in the entertainment logistics industry since graduating from University. His journey has taken him through various roles, from warehouse management to operations and sales. With a keen passion for pallet building, truck, and container loading, Alekos brings a hands-on and detail-oriented approach to his work. Outside the office, he leads an active lifestyle, indulging in activities like working out, skiing, and golfing. A dedicated ice hockey player, Alekos values teamwork and competitiveness. Despite his busy professional life, he cherishes moments with his family and explores his love for travel by venturing into different corners of the world.

Alan Hungerford

Alan has spent ten years touring with heavy metal bands before moving into band logistics, which he has been doing for 12 years. He enjoys getting bands from A-B, and the late nights and multiple time zone projects keep him happy! Interests include spending time with his wife, gym, mountain biking, hiking, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Chris Jenkins

OPERATIONS

Chris has worked in international entertainment logistics for 27 years.  During this time, 15 were spent working on projects such as the NFL games taking place in London, baseball, cricket and rugby to name a few.

Outside of work, Chris is a devoted family man and is a keen QPR fan and enjoys watching all other sports, live and on TV.

Lee Morris

WAREHOUSE & TRANSPORT MANAGER

Lee comes from a freighting background. He enjoys working for Freight Minds as it is a good laugh, and he’s bringing some youthfulness to show up the old boys. Interests include watching Brentford FC and spending time with family.

Katie Janes

Accounts Manager

Katie has worked in freight forwarding for 15 years, 10 of those years within the live entertainment industry. She enjoys her role looking after the company’s finances and the opportunities it brings. Interests include shopping, theatre trips, countryside walks, and staycations with great food.
